Vegetable Picking Field Trip
This tour requires at least 30 people and includes:

Learning where their food comes from
-
greeted by a tour leader

A guided hay ride telling the history of the farm (established in 1941)

Visiting the animals and learning how important they are at the petting barn
-
re-emphasizing the importance of good bugs, vegetables that are grown on top of the ground, vs underneath, irrigation, the give important things you need to have if you were going to become a vegetable farming - The children also get to spend time picking vegetables to take home
Admission: $3.00pp (10 year anniversary special rate . reg. $6pp) Teachers free ...siblings are allowed and will be charged the same price -
Time: The tour will last 1 1/2 hours. Typical arrival time is 10am. There are plenty of tables to enjoy your lunches and a fun play yard.
