Just an FYI... Mapquest sometimes doesn't take you on a direct route to the farm, so it might be easier to use website directions.

ADOT ROAD CLOSURE INFORMATION

 

Current Directions:

Directions from I-10 coming from Tucson or Sun Lakes, Chandler, (driving time from Sun Lakes about 20 minutes, driving time from Tucson about 1hour to 1 hour and 20 minutes)
Take the Riggs Road Exit drive East until it dead ends at Ellsworth Road. Turn left on Ellsworth Road to the next light (Cloud Road.) Turn right on Cloud Road to the very end which is Rittenhouse road. Turn right on Rittenhouse and our entrance is 200 feet up on the right.

 

If you are driving on the 202 East from Ahwatuckee: (driving time from your area is about 45 minutes maximum) continue on 202 to the Chandler Bldv Exit. Continue East to Power Road. Turn right on Power road to Rittenhouse. turn left on Rittenhouse for 8 miles till you come to the farm on the right hand side. 24810 South Rittenhouse Road .

 

Directions from Mesa: (driving time from Mesa 30 minutes Take I -60 freeway East to Ellsworth road and stay on it to Rittenhouse (A big stop light) Turn left on Rittenhouse. Rittenhouse and folo it around 3 1/2 miles to farm on Right. (Rittenhouse will be very busy during rush hour)

 

Directions from I-10 coming from West Phoenix : (driving time from Phoenix, plan for about an hour.to an hour an a half (depending of day and time of day) If you hit rush hour, add another 30 to 45 minutes. . We are exactly 35 miles from downtown Phoenix) 60 to Ellsworth. Right on Ellsworth south to Rittenhouse road. (big stop light) Left on Rittenhouse as it curves around to farm on the right hand side.

Directions from Scottsdale: (Driving time from Scottsdale is pretty good if the 101 is not slowing. About 45 minutes max. Please check ADOT road closures just in case at the top of the page.) 101 south to 60 east. 60 east to the Ellsworth Road Exit. Turn right on Ellsworth and follow the directions from Mesa (above)

 

Directions from Apache Junction, Globe, Superior (driving time from Globe/Miami/Superior about 45 minutes, driving time from Apache Juntion 20 minutes.) 60 west to the Ironwood road exit. Turn left on Ironwood road and continue driving Ocotillo.Turn right on Ocotillo to Rittenhouse (CVS pharmacy on left) turn left on Rittenhouse about 2 miles to farm on right.

Fresh from the Farm Restaurant & Bakery opened Thursdays Thru Sunday 7:30am to 3pm serving breakfast and lunch. New dining menu and hours coming soon.

Dinner Down the Orchard: Fine Dining in the middle of the orchard. Enjoy a five course meal prepared by a well known chef. It's an experience you won't find any where else. Reservations required. Sells out.

Farm Tours Want to see and know the history of our 4th generation family farm? Tour lasts 20 minutes you will enjoy our Farmhouse Museum, Guided Shuttle and visit to orchards and gardens. Cost $5.00 per person or $15.00 per person (to include lunch in Restaurant.) These are given by owners Mark or Carrie Schnepf. Reservation needed. Min. 10 people

Pumpkin & Chili Party

A MUST DO EVENT. Been around the valley for 68 years and this has been voted 3 years in a row as Arizona's Best Fall Event! Open Every Thursday - Sunday the entire month of October. Fireworks Friday and Saturday nights, Pig Racing, train rides and more. Discount Tickets can be purchased at any Fry's.

"Fresh From The Farm" Restaurant serving breakfast Thursdays, Fridays and Breakfast & Lunch on Saturdays and Sundays. From 1pm on, the restaurant parking will close and patrons must drive to the general parking and pay the admission price to enjoy the other activities during October. While dining in the restaurant during the breakfast hours, you may purchase admission into the park from the host.

Peach Varieties: (Florida King (smaller peach, but still juicy and sweet), Florida Prince (medium size peach very tasty) Katy apricots also (smaller but delicious), Earlii Grande Peaches (large everyone's favorite) apricots, Springcrest (large and medium size) runs into June apricots, Santa Rosa plums and Ana apples) Peach Picking lasts the entire month of May, possibly into the first two weeks of June. Santa Rosa Plums begin the last of May and through June, Ana Apples begin the first of June and continue through the 2nd week of July.
