Peyton Curry of Brat Haus and (new) Taco Haus

 

Local AZ Bounty Hunter and Gatherer Payton Curry, age 34, moved here from the rolling hills of San Francisco  to open restaurants with menus that dance playfully around the multiple growing seasons here in Arizona. He works hand in hand with the community twice a week at the Town & Country Farmers Market and the Old Town Farmers Market on Saturdays giving tips on how to season food with a calendar before seasoning with salt.  His “rawvolutionary” style cooking is showcased at the Brat Haus in Old Town Scottsdale and the newly opened Latin Concept the Taco Haus where the Farmers are the Haus Sous Chefs.  With this philosophy in mind we will be harvesting your bounty that morning with the guidance and tutelage of Carrie Schnepf

Appetizers

Crudite and grilled bread

  Tepary Bean Hummus, Carrot Top Pesto.

Spring Bruschetta of grilled Schnepf Farms Peaches with fresh ricotta and mint

Pork Rillette with Arizona’s Premier Schnepf Farms White Peaches

  Ceviche of Dungess Crab, beets, and love

 

  2nd  Course- the right kind of Kale-ories

                  Kale, Beet, Carrot, Peach Vinaigrette, Radish presentation, lil cheese

   

3rd Course- Let’s Meat Here Arizona

                Sweet Onion and Green Garlic sausage, naturally fermented mustards

                Braised Hams, greens and gravy baby

                  Roasted Pork Loins served with Schnepf Farms baby potatoes

 

3rd Course- Practice what you Peach

                Slice of fresh peach pie served with home made vanilla bean ice cream
